    Started up My Own Stores

Haven’t done much on ebay recently. The new rules giving buyers 45 days to return really hurt. Started my own stores one at Another Time 2 Go, an Antique & Collectibles Store and the other is a site that sells the revolutionary new Electronic Cigarettes. They helped me stop smoking when nothing else worked and they are an incredible life saver. You can see them at The Vapor Shack

I’m looking for another good payment option. Paypal is just greedbay all over again. If anyone has any suggestions, please comment

    Auctiva update

Well, I hung around Auctiva waiting for them to offer a flat rate that was affordable but that just wasn’t happening. The plans are very confusing and if you go to cancel Auctiva they will offer a $10 per month plan that still seems to have strings attached. Sellersourcebook has been great and they have a tool that gets my images from the Auctiva listings. Support is fast and great. They host my images too. I found a new home and can stop feeling jerked around by Auctiva. It was great while it lasted but I’m happy I left. Check out

    Auctiva No Longer Free

Well, it seems that Feebay has done it again. They recently cut Auctiva’s throat by cutting the affiliate monies they had been prospering on and so ending 4 years of trouble filled free service. The forums are full of all the ruckus surrounding Auctivas’ announcement. Seems they really didn’t think the fee structure through carefully and they also felt they were entitled to FVF in addition to the other fees. People are jumping ship left and right. Auctiva has behaved poorly in public forums. The arrogant defenses and the trashing of competitors has not gone unnoticed by even its’ staunchest cheerleaders. I know becuase I was one of them. This is a huge disappointment for me but I found a space that has great support and everything I need to get my work done. Visit Seller Sourcebook –Great listing Tools

Thank you for the link. I’m looking for an Auctiva option and now I think I found it. Terrific help. Thanks again.

Another good option is Vendio. They are offering their services completely free for the rest of 2009 and it’s only $10/month for 2011. Definitely gives sellers a lot more time to be able to choose where they want to be without having to worry about fees for the next 6 months.

Ive tried both Auctiva Alternatives and I think that vendiobeats out sellers sourcebook. Just my two cents

This was the actual statement by ebay that they reversed. And according to the eBay Purchase Protection Policy page, if a buyer believes an item is not authentic: “When buyers file a claim alleging that the item is not authentic, we require the buyer to destroy the item. Once a buyer confirms destruction of the item, we will reimburse the buyer or provide an eBay coupon”. Can’t figure out what they are trying to do other than push us out.

Ebay has done it again.. added even more reasons to get out. Will be implementing a new policy where the buyer has 45 days to return item. What a joke!!! And of course they are starting a new fee structure in June that appears to be targeting the little guy again. Time to get out on your own. I’m moving to http://sellersarena.com

Playing catch up but Feebay is getting real slow. Sales are down and nothing id bringing any real profit. The fees seem to be getting higher and higher unless you want to sell all your items for 99cents. Very little bidding going on. Frustrating.

    After Feebay The Reckoning

Welcome to Contemplating Life After Feebay.

As a seller and buyer on Ebay since it was an Infant, I like most am seeking a way out before they shove me out. This Blog was designed to work somewhat like Twitter in that thoughts and comments can be short and to the point. We can help each other succeed and this is just the start.
